Does anyone have a problem with their Fluke 156X testers when doing Loop Impedance Testing ?

Most of the earth systems I come across are TT and my meter will on the odd occasion show >2000 ohms and then on a repeated try I get the correct answer.

I think the problem gets worst when the L-N line impedance is high, say greater than 1 ohm but have seen it on L-N reading of 0.5 ohms

The other day was a real pain, the L-N was 3.2 ohms (don't ask - 2.5mm wire/ too long) and every other reading gave me >2000 or the correct 39 ohms
Found that doing a L-N reading first then the ZI next the meter behaved its self but try to do two ZI reading one after another just gave me >2000 ohms

Just thought I'd ask

A mate of mine had a similar problem with his Fluke 1653B about 4 years ago. It was sent to Fluke for evaluation, they found it had an early version of firmware, the MFT was given a free firmware update and recalibration, with no problems since.
