Hi all,

I am looking to install FTA, I would like HD (poss Humax Foxsat-HDR) and recordable option in Lounge with 2 other basic boxes in 2 other rooms.

I would like access to 2 Astra sats and the Hotbird sat, so would a multkit be better than a motorised set-up etc?

Also what cables would i need to run and where to plz?

cheers
Mick

Ive used a DISEqC setup before, easy to config if the box allows it. Much faster switching between channels.
Its the best option IMO as long as you have the room for dishes :)

Great selection of channels too.

Hotbird has the MBC movie channels too doesnt it?

I had two dishes connected to a DISEqC switch then one cable down to the FTA box if that helps

You can use one dish with multiple LNBs on a monobloc (up to 3 or 4) controlled by DISEqC (depending on what Sats you wish to watch).
