Hi guys just had this inverter fitted and have a small issue, at night the display goes completely dead! I want to be able to see how it's done when I get in from work, no matter what button is pressed it won't come on , now iv been through the instructions and found the section on DATACOM called night mode, it states 3 options. OFF (not on at night) ON( on continuously) and AUTO Whitch turs the display off and it should come back on when the button are pressed. On and Off modes work as they should but AUTO does not, it just goes dead like OFF mode.

Any ideas ? It's a silly thing really but would rather not have the display on 24 hours unless I have to

Why don't you insert a USB stick into it, download the desktop software from fronious, then you can download each week or everyday if you wish, this will give you a comprehensive view of how the system is doing.

thanks guys for the reply, i have another question.
i have a question on inverter size, we have 16x Kyocera 245w panels with a Fronius IG-TL 3.6. now the total panel ratings is 3920w bus according to the inverter it max power rating is 3840 with a max output of 3680. is this correct ? we were sold the system as 3.9kw ovsiosly this is the panel rating is how its sold, i was just a little concerned as the panels out rate the inverter.

It's perfectly normal to undersize the inverter. Why? Because a smaller inverter will work better on cloudy days. Secondly, the installer may be planning to do the job under G83 (post-notification) rather than G59 (pre-notification - which can take 45 days).
