Hi
I have a garage that I'm converting in to habitable space
I will have electric shower, oven and hob, 2 x electric heaters, microwave, kettle, tv and lights
The cable run from the consumer unit (C/U) is 13-15 meters
What size armoured cable should I use? and what size mcb rating at the C/U

Welcome to the forum mate.
These are new circuit, so depending on where you live within the UK, will be part p notifiable work.
Also, I presume you will want this at least to be checked by an electrician, so you get a cert for it. In this case please consult the electrician who will be putting their name to this cert. They will tell you all the info you need.

as a starting point, i'd be looking at 16mm cable on a 63A breaker, but get a sparks in to verify.there are various factors to consider before deciding.

Thanks telecrix, that's great for a starting point :)
When you say "various factors" could you give me example please?
