Hi all

I had my PV/Battery setup installed in May and since then all my excess PV is just fed back to the grid for free.

When I initially tried to get setup on Octopus Energy they came back with this:
"To correctly measure your export we have to get something called an export MPAN generated which is an extra identifier for your meter. Normally when a solar system is installed the installer sends a G59/G83/G98 notification form to the Distribution Network Operator (DNO)."

My installer is now as good as useless at responding to help requests so I've tried to go off and do it myself. Has anyone else managed to do this as it seems more complicated than I thought it would be!?

I've found my areas DNO (UK Power Networks) and I've submitted some kind of application form defining my battery and Solar PV installation. They've since asked me to provide a list of 'commissioning documents' which I'm not sure I have. All I've got from the installer is a Building Regs Cert, MCS Cert and a Schematic Diagram of the install.

Any guidance would be appreciated as I'm a bit stumped now how to proceed.

Thanks
Ross
