I got these new lights from Philips from the 'mygarden' category that have these motion sensors on them, the only problem is these motion sensors are absolute garbage. I tried to disable the motion sensors but failed hard. I am NOT an electrician nor do i have any experience is that area. I've included some pictures, any help is very appreciated. Thank you

why are the sensors garbage? philips gear is usually OK.

Who wired up the lights? Are they connected to a switch inside? The reason I ask is, if there is no switch and you bypass the motion sensor then the light might be on permanently...

They are not garbage. They work as advertised.
they are just a bit too sensitive, they go off with the slightest movement, and because i installed them in my room sometimes i don't want the lights going off when I'm on the computer.

why install outside PIR lights in a room.?

Messrs Heath and Robinson would suggest margarine carton material covering white lens ! IR rays need to pass thru to work !
(or experiment with some of it ) ..
When the rats are big enough to detect you need to move.

and my mother-in-law loves me

well, somebody has to. :(

Apart from struggling to see the need for outside lights indoors, why haven’t you provided a cpc for the fitting? That fly lead imposes there’s a need to Earth the fitting, This tells me your aren’t an electrician, best get one to sort out your dilemma. Won’t take much longer that 15 minutes to sort.

If you disconnect the Brown, Blue and Black, tape them up and shove them out the way back down the hole they are coming from.
Then budge over the brown that goes to the light fitting one slot, so it connects with the yellow and white cable.

Is that brick wallpaper - if it is then tell me do you have a green rug and a birdbath in the middle of the room?
Has someone turned your life inside out?

It is brick wallpaper! He lives in a gastropub

Seriously. The answer has been given.
Disconnect the sensor wires and connect directly to the light fitting part.
Still need an earth. The fitting looks metal.

Is that the cable colours for the moon? White and white/ yellow
It’s gonna need a mighty long earth wire to reach earth.
