Hi all,
Yesterday I returned home to no hot water after a few days away.
After a brief inspection it seems the fault lies with the Horstmann Electronic 7 Water Heater.
The display is still visible but the controller is completely unresponsive. If I select either of the following buttons nothings happens:
-Boost
-Plus
-Minus
-Set
If I press the 'select' button then the display toggles between 'timed boost' on and off.
Essentially, no hot water is being generated during the timed period or even if I press the 'boost' button. The controller also doesn't light up to indicate it is generating hot water during the timed period of after pressing the 'boost' button.
I have tried turning the fused spur off, as well as switching the controller off once the front cover has been removed. With the front cover removed it is clear there has been some overheating with the 'off peak load' but not sure if that would cause the lack of hot water?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
