I've got a security light which has two wires like a normal ceiling lamp (the first wiring diagram attached).

I bought a new security light which has three wires (live, neutral, earth), attched is an image of that.

There is also attached a picture of the current security light with its live and switched live connected.

How do I wire the new light into the three wires?

It needs connecting exactly how you have it although it isn't clear which black is actually the neutral. The green yellow needs connecting to the bare earths which are probably concealed by the yellow tape, the bare earths will require green/yellow sleeving.

Thank you. So talking from the perspective of the new security light, I connect the neutral (blue) to the black neutral and the live (brown) to the switch live and the earth to the bare earth (I bought some green/yellow sleeving as well)?

You don't know which one is the switched live unless you have a means of testing it.
