Hi all.

Looking to install EV charger points mainly on domestic properties does anyone have info on any courses and how I could become a registered installer with gov. On gov.uk it states to receive a grant to install a point a house hold would need a registered sparks. Looking further gov.uk states that sparks needs to have qualifications, recognise to install a specific brand by company (ie British gas) and then registered with gov.uk OLEV.
I'm really interested in doing this but how would you approach a charger point company to become a recognised install we of their product...?

Any thoughts be great .
I'm based in Sussex

Thanks all for such a cracking forun

The easiest way would be to ring them up and ask what they would want of an installer and more importantly IF they need installers, before you potentially waste money on training in an area that may be saturated already.
