If you have a Kewtech KT77 and its asking you to enter the date and time each time you turn it on it means the backup battery is dead. I've seen sites charging over £60 to replace the battery. It's simple enough to do it yourself. The battery is available online for around £3 or from RS if you have one local to you. For a quick guide on how to change the battery and also how to change the Seaward Supernova battery click on this LINK
Doing this WILL invalidate your calibration but it'll probably still be cheaper to have it recalibrated afterwards than to have your local calibration house swap the battery for you.
Oh, yes I know the web site is a bit basic but I just don't get the spare time - one day..........
