Than these horrible EM fittings from a national wholesaler. Designers need to try and install things like this themselves...

2x 1.5mm were a very snug fit. Beer time...

You could connect the cables to a Klik or rock rose mate and have a small flex to the Light :innocent:

Yep they are, but you can crimp the cables into a smaller spade like crimp which reduces the size of the conductor and makes it easier to get into the terminals, but Strima knows that.

Previous fittings we've used had the dual spring loaded terminations that are a pleasure to work with but looks like the wholesaler has changed suppliers, no need for spade crimps on the old ones and I have about three left on my van...

No chance of using Clik connectors and a flex as they're wired in conduit passing through.

To get the cable in with no copper showing means you have to strip back roughly 4mm of insulation but then the remaining insulation stops you from getting the cable seated correctly. All whilst balancing on a step ladder whilst trying not to bang my head off the fire suppression plumbing...

If anyone knows of any decent LED 6ft batons with 3 hour back up I'd be interested.

Connect the singles with wagos in the back of the fitting and use a short length of singles to the terminals.
Those terminals don’t provide a sound connection for two conductors.
Not enough room to get 4x 3 way Wagos in the fitting without them applying pressure to the PCB.

Could you not have mounted the fitting on a besa box? As then your joint can be in the besa box with a flex the the light fitting and you also keep your steel conduit continuous.
Plus it makes it easier to replace any fitting which may fail in the future.
