i saw that discussion you have linked to on the news nothing will change soon, of note in the evidence fires were reducing prior to grenfell, so that will only strengthen the hands of niceic/elecsa stroma etc... it will be a lot of box ticking afterwards and clear who has responsibility for fire safety in buildings so risk plans etc galore..
 
Don't hold your breath .... The DCLG are keeping a low profile so they don't get caught up in the London tower enquiry ..... And I would say that they hold some significant responsibility for what happened ...
 
Seems that specific Building REG's, e.g. Part P is not specifically part of her remit, although she was caught in the headlights of that question asked of her, and she would examine the question and refer back to the committee. After all it is an interim report.
