Discuss Just tried to change outside light ..Help please in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

I've put my thumb over the little hole on the sensor and light does go off but comes back on

Surely the sensor cannot be faulty on both the lights i got

yea i know i should not have bought it off ebay and im not too fussed in having to use it as an on /off at the switch

i just hate it that i cannot work it out lol

Well i will update this

I put a plug on fitting and tried in every socket

It worked in every socket bar 3 sockets that was in close proximity to this socket (on same wall where light is fixed)

So its this sockets thats causing the sensor to not work correctly. Ive disabled the wifi on the socket and still the same

So what next ?

Out of interest, are those sockets cheap unbranded ebay ones?
