I'd recommend kewtech jump leads.

Simply to croc crips with about 3" on cable between them. Makes linking cables for r1+r2 easy and link earth bar to busbar for radials.
 
True, time is money though lol but yes making your own would be a cheaper option...

On that note I've just been shown adaptors to change from Es/bc/gu10 etc... Couple of quid each to on theory you only need one light mate
 
Light mates come as a set so you get them all at once, plus adding extra connections in to test leads is a bad idea as it introduces more resistance
