God I love a bit of Knipex. I usually go for chrome finish for that bit of shiny tartiness. :)
I buy mine from FFX and they usually have good prices. That particular pair is £24 inc vat and delivery there.

I have had the same pair of Channelock cutters for 30 odd years, bit knackered now but cannot part with them.

Feel bad when I was an apprentice my master showed me a 20 amp mcb to isolate went got his tools I turned of wrong mcb and he cut through the live cable and wasted his plyers he had for 40 years

Brilliant for so many reasons!
Was that a typo or was he your master?
I may start calling my mentor/boss that!

...I hope your second mentor was an improvement in the realm of safe isolation...;)

hah. ....

" you've turned off all the wrong breakers"

" no, i've turned of all the right breakers, but not necessarily in the right order".

The ones in the picture above arn't VDE tested though?

I may be wrong but I thought only the red and yellow/some solid red coloured Knipex were VDE?

Yes that's right. Not everyone chooses to use VDE though.

They also do a slim PVC handle choice for most tools too.

Been looking for a new pair of knipex snips. Mine have a few knotches in them.. no idea how that happened.. Think mice have been at them.
Nice little tip
