Hi all,

I'm looking for some advice/constructive criticism.

Ive tried to mock up a 2 way light circuit and want to make sure its wired up correctly (see attached images)

I've used 1mm Twin and earth & 3 core and earth.

Please let me know your thoughts/concerns.

Anything you see that needs changing/improving please let me know. I'll soon be enrolling in college so I'm just getting in some practice.

Additional questions

1. Should I have doubled over?
2. Do both black and grey conductors need brown sleeving?
3. In the image where ive chewed up the end of the conductor, is it acceptable or would it need to be changed?
4. What would this circuit be referred to in industry? I would call this a 'loop in, 2 way light circuit? Or '3 plate, 2 way light circuit'?

1. lots of people for and against, personally no real opinion as hardly ever use solid core T&E but would point out manufactures never show conductors doubled over in there installation instructions.
2. Yes should do, and as an aside that earth sleeve in too big
3.It will look like that after you do the screw up tight on the light switch or ceiling rose anyway.
4.It's a two way light switch, don't over complicate it.

Your first bit of college will be clipping a length of T&E to the wall make sure you remember to do a hammers length between clips.
Also when terminating your cables they'll pull you up on any copper showing.

Good job
