Discuss Load and Supply 45 Amp DP Shower Switch in the Australia area at ElectriciansForums.net

I have recently moved a 45amp DP shower switch to a more convenient place but when I disconnected the cables I forgot to take note of which cable went to the load and supply... when I reconnect the cable does it matter which one I connected to? What will happen if it's connected the wrong way? How can I identify which cable is the Load and which is the Supply.

Regards
Col

It only realy maters if the switch has a neon in it.

Then you would soon know if you connected it incorectly because the neon would be on permantly.
