MCB to RCBO

[Kirchoff1]

Working on Memera 2000 AD CU (not the Memera 2000)
want to convert B32 MCB to an RCBO.
Believe MEM Eaton (who manufacture Memera ) do a 'Pod' called
the MR30 which just 'clips' on top of MCB any one used this before.

Have received conflicting info off MEM web site as to whether
this only works on older CU (the Memera 2000).

Advice and anyone who have used this successfully appreciated .

Came across the MEM pods,about 4 years ago. From what I remember the top of the breaker unclips and you then fit the "pod" onto the breaker in it's place hence making an RCBO.

They seemed to work ok, never really trusted them though.

You could buy a new CU for less than one of those pods

Ive come across these several times, both in testing and install.. Ive never known to have a problem in using them but they are pricey.. the last time cost about £350 for 6 MCB's and Pods all because the customer didnt want a DB chance...

still dont understand it but thats what they wanted. the pod it self takes about 60 seconds to change and is a simple install
