Talked to the tech line the other day hoping to confirm what I already knew, but with a definite answer regarding issues on EICR, on a property 40+ years old.
Not a great experience I must say, putting all the onus back on me, What do you think you should do?
At the end I gave a very conservative answer on the issues, saying well I wouldn’t be doing this NOW would I?

Guidance Note 8 talks about bonding in multiple occupancy dwellings and from memory is clear each flat should have extraneous services bonded to the MET in that flat at the point they enter that flat.
The question is more about the 6 sq mm CPC of the distribution circuit supporting the bonding I think.
 
Yea the problem is the CPC to the flats…that require MBPC..
The Meter positions are remote & are individual to each flat & so are the Water supplies to each flat & are extraneous parts.
No easy install for a new Earth Conductor & doubt if the LL would pay for it to be done
