Ok so basically here I have a 750W Computer powersupply which outputs 60amps on the 12volt rail, I'm not interested in running this to a PC. Basically I want to be able to hook the powersupply up to my car's electrical system (when the car is not started ofc) while I work on it so I don't drain the battery, and as I know a 12v battery needs like 13.8v to charge and 12volts from a PSU isnt going to charge it, I have gathered all the 12v wires together and soldered them (like 15 18awg wires) and the same with the ground/negative wires, I have noticed the PSU has a senseline and I was wondering if its possible to manipulate the senseline system into tricking it into making the PSU's 12v rail run at 13.8v? if its possible, what value potentiometer's should I use?
thanks
