Well that's an interesting point the fact that I am charging ....compared with your area may make people be suspect of me...it's not something I'd considered...the only thing I will say is that my rate seems to be normal for the area....interested as to how i might get into this IT cabling if there is so much in it .
What is it exactly that you do, work wise?Thanks for the advice..will have a chat with other electricians i know to get their take on but I think I may be pricing myself out of work at those rates .

Quality of life is so so. Abit sick of London In general tbh.
I do mainly small domestic works...changing damaged sockets,switches etc
normally i just go around and give them a price for the job...I keep a few bits on the van so I can do the job there and then if they go for the price
Some guys are top gun at third year of their apprenticeship, some could take seven years before they're any good.
