Radial Circuit

Recently i have wired a small dwelling house.

I have used 2.5 mm Wire for a radial circuit of 2 double and 2 single sockets. (probably the cable length of 35 m)

I am a bit conscious to know whether it will work for longer time. or i will need to make it a ring circuit.

WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST?

I would recommend the OP reads appendix 15 of BS7671, that may help.

A small house and a 35m radial circuit? This doesn't add up.

If its a 4mm radial fine but its a 2.5mm propably protected by a 16a mcb.
I gave my opinion to reduce risk of oveload!

Or 20A...


But I think the questions more being asked because people have suspicions its going to be on a 32A...

I don't mind a drop of Green King Tel, is that any better than the Cream flow you despise so much ?

green king is OK. as mentioned previously, hobgoblin is moreish and theakstons old peculier is even nicer.

So you have already "wired it", and now you are asking us whether it will work for very long?
I'm guessing that this should be in the DIY section.

Bloody strong is what it is! 6.6% pretty similar to hobgoblin but apparantly its totally different

I noticed yesterday that hobgoblin is 5.2% in bottles and 4.5% on tap in the pub.....odd.
