evening all

I am wondering what the installation methods should be for cables run under floor boards and then into stud walls but without thermal insulation...102,103 dont seem relevant and so my understanding leads me to think it would be a cross between c for clipped direct under the boards and then b for in the stud wall as its similar in a sense to a void.

Thanks for any responses

Sometimes you have a mix of installation methods for a cable, and picking one method is not strictly accurate - I would just pick the worst applicable.

For cables under floor boards with no insulation, if this is above a plasterboard ceiling then I'd just put method 100 - which says less than 100mm insulation - which is still true, since there is no insulation. If under ground floor floorboards, then hopefully the cable is clipped to joists i.e. C.

Go with worst choice, most cables I find under floorboards on ground floor down here are just lying on the cold earth.....no install method for mud though ?
