I am organising a switchboard upgrade to my property and have recently had a smart meter installed.

I am receiving conflicting information regarding whether the meter provider will need to also come out on the same day as the electricians to re-install the smart meter after the new switchboard panel is fitted.

Would someone know the answer to this?

Just noting, I am in NSW. Also, there are tamper seals on the smart meter.

I would ask the electrician you are employing, they should know the answer to this for the area you are in.
if they are unsure, you probably need to find a better electrician.
