right forum?

is this the correct forum to ask questions about hooking up a amp to a radio?
I have a car radio i took out of a wrecked car..and have installed it in a cabinet.
now i have an amp i want to add to the mix.
if this is the right forum i can provide pictures of what i have,

the stereo is an alpine, i have the wire diagram on the radio
the amp comes out of a 05 impala, i grabbed it and the wire harness.


radio has 2 wires that have female connectors one is white the other red
the amp is lower lh corner, harness plugs in


wtf? how do i figure out which which is which
