I have been given an assignment by college for my first week as a level 3 student which has to be in tomorrow. I have been unable to do it due to being in work the entire weekend and all of today(I know it's no excuse but you know..) and I am struggling a little with this question. But I don't think you'll find anybody will give you the answer directly. That wouldn't be wise.

What books or people provide information on the requirements for electrical installations?
What information can be gained about installations for emergency lighting, are there any standards to work to?
For this installation specifically where would you find the specifications required.
(You have a good clue in your attached picture for one of them!)
