My Irazolas are a bit tired and just browsing for a new set. Just wondered what your weapons of choice are?

Use irazola too, although was getting fed up with the terminal which I have broke a couple of, but thankfully now found a site that sells them individually.

Got the wera kraftform VDE set at the minute and really liking them. Used a mates CK set too and they seem decent too, but my the tips on the Wera's are fantastic.

Edit: On amazon for £20 now. Just make sure to throw that phase tester as far as you can out your back door.

WHY?? Just disgard the internals, replace with some resin bond, ...and you have a neat terminal screwdriver that you can clip into your top pocket!! Very handy they are too...lol!!

I work with guy that had the torque set, and they were dung for the price , the 18 pc set for £45 look good

Why take out the neon when it could save your life when working on a circuit that you're sure is dead but due to non compliant wiring etc. etc. is still live.

Just this morning I bought a set of CK Triton screwdrivers for a mate that has helped on a job. (late birthday present as well). They are pretty good for £14+vat.

I use the normal CK, had a set for abut a year now. Broken the terminal twice and the Pz2 once due to miss use but I can buy them at my local wholesalers individually. Also have a Wira slim shaft but you have to take care when using it, more fragile than normal.

I mainly use CK gear, but have had quite a few break lately, too brittle, and I am now thinking of switching brands.

I would have returned them (CK was known to have dodgy batches), but I got them via various sources and don't where the various broken ones came from lol

I've had the irazola set as well and they lasted longer then my current CK. Irazola shafts are a bit to long some times when in cramped placed. Next set I think I will go for is the Wera with the toughen tips.

Ive got the Wera ones with the laser tip. The terminal one has little grooves in it to help bite and you can buy them individually at electrifix

If your anything like me get a £12 set if CK's cos I leave them everywhere. Dread to think how many tools I have lost in the last 10 years!!!

The black Bacho drivers are very poor. I snapped a few. CEF near me stopped selling them due to loads of returns.

I got a Free set of Bacho's when I got an account with an wholesalers. Lasted a day before I broke 2 of them under normal usage btw. Gave them to an electricians mate and he said they were rubbish. DONT BUY THEM.

Crikey, these don't even sound as good as the £5 set I got from Aldi. What's happened to Bahco ? I had them down as one of the true quality tool producers.

I bought a Bahco VDE driver from the local indy tool store....massively too long, didn't fit screwheads properly (PZ2 driver, PZ2 screws) instead wanted to round off anything in site....utterly kack...
I think its still in the bottom of the toolbox...probably wouldn't even be useful as a pry tool....

Wiha slim vario and CK regular range. i don't buy the sets of CK or anyone, just the ones I use and replace when necessary.

I won't touch Irazola as i don't rate the flared tips on the flat heads, and have snapped the pozis in the past. The lifetime guarantee is worthless as it's covered by the caveat of 'normal use'. They'll just claim you used it to lever a paint can open!

Apart from my Slim Vario set, which i rate highly for second fix, I buy mid range, use and abuse, then buy each one again as necessary. What are they..£5-7 each? and for the amount of work they do....

I have this set for Sunday best. It's lasted well for over a year mainly because I don't lend it out but I broke the small flat blade a few days ago. RS don't seem to sell the individual blades as replacements which is a bit of a con :(

Have used them all at one time or other,Wera,CK and early Irazola good. All smaller drivers can be destroyed on excessive or unusual force.Strongest are Gedore.Anyone doing other than production/new build dosent need a torque screwdriver, just more experience. I also have some Spiralux and Merkur drivers that i have owned for 30years and are made of that tooth material from Ripleys Alien...T minus...1 minute...

Have been using the same set of CKs for three years now! Seen some heavy use and mostly all as good as new. Small terminal, large terminal and modulo are a little worn, will probably replace them soon, but other than that, very happy with them. Before I used Wera, they were good, just not as good as CK IMHO.
