looks like a offset tag fuse in a fuse holder

Once again I have to agree with Lenny (how I hate sycophants:p) this looks like a BS1361 fuse otherwise known in industrial use as type TIA ~ it won't be offset as the fixing screws are at the same height.

If it's a main service fuse then it's deffo BS 1361.

BS 88's aren't available in 60A, they were 63A.

They are not now but you could get them at one time like 5A, 15A, 30A before they changed to 6A, 16, 32A;)

Me thinks the bigissue here is its all irrelevant- Surely its a rewire ! Magic learning though! I have a few antique bits also, and sections of more modern stuff where I have cut a fault out, must throw it out, but cant!!

If it's irrelevant weather it's a BS88 or a BS1361 and it's a rewire job, then what would you put on the cetificate? :(

ok so what you are saying is that that fuse is gonna stay in and not be changed by the supplier, i.e. upgraded. Well thats easy, what ever it says on the side of the fuse goes on the certificate.
