where in Europe is city and guilds qualifications recognised?

Hi,
I have spent several hours trying to find what European countries city and guilds are recognised in. The information online is very limited and mainly says covers 81 countries without specifying which ones. Any help would be appreciated. Any english speaking expats around Europe feedback would also be appreciated.

City and Guilds are recognised worldwide but this really applies to subjects that are the same throughout the world like Maths, English,Physics etc When you are taught to the BS7671 for Electrical Installation then this is a British Standard and may differ from other countries who have their own Standards, usually your C & G Diploma's etc will be only recognised to a certain level and you may need to take additional courses to be recognised in other countries ...this is my own opinion but Ill be happy to be corrected if others know differently.

Thank you for the reply. I did find it useful to know about possibly having to take extra courses depending on the country regs. To be honest though I am just abit surprised that C&G claim to cater for 81 countries yet information about which ones can't be found. Is there really this many countries awarding C&G qualifications?
