Hi, I hope you are all well. I want to ask if there are any considerations to wiring if installed in a cavity wall with soundproofing? Also, do sockets, etc. need to be incased with putty or sealed with sealant?
 
Have you any information on the soundproofing material?

Certainly cable needs to be de-rated to allow for thermal insulation and the most obvious thing to do from an electrical point of view is to assume the acoustic material is the same as it is unlikely to be better as thermal insulation!

Not sure about your point on the sockets. Are you concerned with fire-retardant stuff or is this about maintaining the acoustic properties of the wall?

No info on the material yet. Yes, I was wondering about them being weak spots in the sound insulation.
 
I have never used one, but you do get back boxes that claim both fire & sound properties:

Not sure about how you get the cables in though, for best sound proofing you might need to seal it to the material, or use one of the glands that take T&E, etc.

Some glands claim to be LSF so presumably also a degree of fire retardant behaviour:
