NICEIC Certification Scheme Working without Certificate ? (Need Information)

Hi dear friends,

Firstly sorry my english skill if it's bad

I've a special condition and need some more information.

I've a company in my country (registered sub-contractor of GE, ABB, etc.) and provide automation engineering for high and medium voltage systems.
But for some reasons I moved to England 20 days ego, with self-employed visa. I'm electrical engineer - bachelor degree and opened a limited company here.

Due to the visa type it's not available to work for a company as an employee. Because of that it is difficult for me to find a job, so I try to find a way to start earning money as soon as earlier.

I can do electrical issues (changing sockets, lamps, etc.) in buildings. Bu I have some questions, because I don't want to do something wrong:

1- Is it legal for me to work in a building, for example changing sockets, etc ? I have to be certificated by Niceic or other companies?
If I need a certificate,
2- What do you advise me? I want to do some small works to meet my daily expenses.
3- How can i take a certificate (which lets me work legally) in cheap way and quickly?
4- Niceice says that they give certificate after a 3 days training in charge of 450, is that right or i misunderstood?

you can legally do work in the UK as long as you are competent. certain works in the domestic field are subject to part p, which is a building regulation. these basically involve :
new circuits; CU replacements; work in bathrooms; underfloor heating. smaller jobs apart from like for like replacements of accessories, require an EIC ( electrical installation certificate) or MWC (minor works certificate). samples of these can be found in BS7671, a copy of which (18th Edition) you need to buy. wholesalers stock duplicate pads of all the necessary certs.

I didn't realise underfloor heating was notifiable?

So, Can you advise me any course to get this certificate?
I can start with MWC or EIC, but I'm new London its my 20th days also.
My location is North Finchley (Wood Green or other near locations are available for me)
