looks like a quality job mate.Bit of tray work for a new office AC at a local hospital, first time doing tray and using proper sets instead of ready made angles. Will get some more of the finished product, but pretty happy with it.

CU is neat. as for the joint box, i don't like the choc blocks.din rail mounted terminals would have been better here, but it's neatly done and cables clearly marked/secured.
Nice and neat. Definitely a good start. Keep up the good work, you are strides ahead of the majority of three phase boards I see!
A couple of questions for information: are you taught to cable tie the cores? and what is the second earth cable in circuit 4?
I might have taken the incoming earth cable to the earth bar rather than the enclosure and the armour connection to an earth terminal other than for a final circuit.
I hope you are planning on sealing that other hole in the base plate!![]()
Yup, college set up. 3 phase lighting switched by a contactor. Doesn't need anything bigger.Hagar board with Wylex MCB?
I presume this is a college task the armour feed looks like a 2.5mm
from what the SP said we're lucky we have the boards available let alone correct MCBs. Annoying me a bit because I'm paying over £3k for this year and they can't even get a new board.Fair enough, they should invest in the correct make MCB though but with college budgets I don't expect much less
that's on top of the £1.5k for level 2. At 38 I'm not going to get an apprenticeship£3k Thank god I got an apprenticeship.

Thankfully I've been accepted for an Adult learners loan for this year.Did you pay for this out of your own pocket Dave or did you get a student loan as I know they're available for level 3.

Got my first real assignment passed 1st time, pretty easy as it was only a 1 way but still happy with it.
The pictures may not impress anyone but at least I can look back on them myself in the future!
Cheers mate that makes perfect sense! My work will get neater the more experienced I get.
Quality work on that ceiling rose by the way! Work of art haha!
