Hell, I can go into any farm cottage around here and see similar, if not worse.
I agree about farm properties, I seem to be spending a lot of time moving between them in Wales at the moment.
The photo was apparently a holiday let on the Isle of Sheppey.
I was a little bit intrigued if there is a meter upstream or if that is the overhead supply coming in with a dodgy DIY TN connection....

I think there are more caravans than house's on the Isle of Sheppey, the favourite holiday and week end retreat for the folks from the East End of London.

Before anyone has a go about predigest I was born within the sound of Bow Bells which are in St Mary Le Bow church in Cheapside near St Pauls so more the City of London that the east end.

I have a strange fondness for the East End as I've seen more of it than many have. I used to cycle from Leyton to near Orchard Street W1 on a daily basis. Nicest in the summer when Victoria Park was open until dusk. I started during the fuel strikes, and liked it so much I kept going when the cars returned. I kept it up for about 3 years until I came too close to death on Old Street roundabout for the 3rd time and figured the tube had some benefits, like increased life expectancy!

What the heck is the problem with the V word?

It’s a prescription medicine…. Maybe because it’s a trade name?

Next thing, you’ll be saying we can’t use -----, -------- and ------- In our messages.

😱 :rolleyes::D

The answer to almost zero IR lies within. I love the brick.

I'm also quietly proud of my assistant, 3rd year in college, and let loose solo on this unoccupied property. He's traced the problem down to this section and worked out which bit of floor to dig up all on his own.
We're now up to 8Mohms from 0.03Mohms. He's clipping it all up off the floor now, poor chap!
I reckon he deserves a beer or two later.

Looks a bit damp down there. 😉
It does. Any sign of air vents that might be blocked?
I've traced loads of cases of poor IR down to these junction boxes. Usually down to them being full of damp cobwebs, up on a beam in some agricultural outbuilding.
Quick cure was to clean it out and to pack it full of a red plasticine like compound, whose name escapes me. 'R' something, IIRC.

That's a lovely panel.
We did some bio digester plant a couple of years ago the panels were all made in Germany and very tidy indeed!
Only trouble was that the instructions to install them were in German and none of us did!!😀
Also isn't there a thread on here for jobs done properly?
