2 electric showers in a house!

there is no gas boiler,then 2 electric showers in the house, the problem is that the supply is only 100A, but the demand is roughly 110A, the landlord said it will be very rare that the 2 showers are used at the same time, he might be right because the 2 showers have been there for long time and no problem has happened so far, i tend to say it is not safe, but looks everything is fine...

what are you asking here? how is the demand 110amps. is that after diversity is applied? I assume 2 radials are installed? what size showers, what have You been asked to do? are you an electrician?

You can get a shower priority unit that allows only one to be ran at the time

A 100A fuse will run for hours at 110A so there is no problem.

You must have been eavesdropping on what I said to her! Reasonable chance of two being on at once but not all, so I just explained about the theoretical risk but said not to worry in practice! Even 30kW would only be 129A on the bullet which a rough guess at the curve is probably about 1000 secs - longer than the shower!

Just done an eicr on cricket club that had 4 showers on a 100A supply no probs what so ever been running for years like it
