It just sits in a box with a clamp meter and phase rotation meter. Just got rid my Robin single testers.

I like the Metrel multi, got one just before christmas with a new clamp meter from test meter with the sainsbury's vouchers lol

Again the MI says it reads up to 200 Meg ohms, not infinity. I imagine the infinity symbol is just to indicate the tester can not read beyond the scale it is showing.

I've been keeping out of this thread because my analogue Kyoritsu IR tester also uses the infinity symbol at FSD.

I still say it's correct to put a 'greater than' sign. The 200 isn't an actual value, it's just the meter that has reached its limit of measurement. If someone comes along next time and uses a meter with an FSD of 999, it will show 999 this time, but the circuit IR hasn't changed. Daz

I was telling my mates son,who is at a notable secondary near me,just how dangerous,school was,in the 70's

I don't have many mates,my age,who have not had old teachers prosecuted or investigated....one legendary biology teacher being at Minshull street this week:bobby: ..."weather" or not he's guilty,we will have to see.....(i'm going for a yes)


Yep,in a lot of regards,the 5 years i did at my local Grammar,were as fraught with risk,as the 2 years some of my friends did,in the regiment......and they were in the Falklands after 1 year in!
