Hi guys Im doing electrician course 2357 and I have problem Assignment 305 with some questions anyone can help me??? Waiting for reply Thanks!
 
Hi for example: 1.during installation of the main trunking system within Block L,various amounts of cutting and drilling through the building structure is required.Describe two ways in which the fabric and structural integrity of the building can be maintained?

2.Risk assessment and method statement for measuring and marking out?

3.Describe the installation practice and procedures to ensure that the containment systems integrity is maintained during the installation process in order to ensure that no damage will occur to the wiring system or its components?

Didn't see this reply sorry mate, you could probably get a sample RA from the net, suppose the second bit is reffering to keeping covers on etc PS I'm not p$ssed yet, gettin there though

Method Statement


- Arrive at site and report to site office or site manager.
- Wear all PPE necessary as Construction Site Management Board states, or as health and safety briefing states.

- All work must comply with any relevant regulations, being; Health and safety at work act 1974, Electricity at work regulations 1989, Electricity wiring regulations BS 7671 2008. COSHH regulations 2002.

just think material,tools etc and how will you be using them?

You would need to provide more detail than that, I think you are not trying too hard!

Minimising the size of penetrations , complying with Part A of the building regulations, resealing the fabric around penetrations are good starting points.

Correct design of the containment system to minimise sharp direction changes, proper preparation of the containment (filing down, sanding cut edges), ensuring smooth bends, ensuring an adequate number of draw points are installed, ensuring suitable support for the containment both on the surface to which it is affixed and for the method and frequency of supports would be a good ideas to expand on.
