Take a pic of the connection to the actual immersion and accessory it connects from and upload pleaseIt is for the immersion heater it's what heats are water I've been using it since we have moved it but want something so I can put t on a timer rather than a switch?
If you carry on you will either kill yourself, someone else, or cause a fire. An immersion heater is a relatively hi current appliance associated with water and bathroom pipework, and hence high risk. Leave it alone, you clearly don't know how to do it safely. It is for the immersion heater it's what heats are water I've been using it since we have moved it but want something so I can put t on a timer rather than a switch?
Mate that's a lighting switch, wired in what looks lie 1.5mm singles, there will be no Neutral at that position, so cannot be used as a W/H switch or any D/P switch for that matter. It is for the immersion heater it's what heats are water I've been using it since we have moved it but want something so I can put t on a timer rather than a switch?

I said that but you've disagreed?Sorry mate but are you sure, looking at that it's a 2 way light switch not a double pole switch for an immersion heater.
possible a strapper to another switchQuestion is, where is the other cable going from two way switch?[/QUOTE ]

Gonna just get a spark guys but that's definitely the immersion heater switch 100% it's the only one we use for the warm water because we haven't used oil yet or filled the tank as it's summer , is it dangerous as it stands?
