hi there, new to the forum. im getting laid off from work on Friday due to lack of work and was wondering if anyone could recommend specialist agency's for sparks in the herts/beds area?. done all my college,am2 and just handed in my nvq portfolio so just waiting to receive certs so i would still be classed as an improver i think until i get it.
if anyone could help me out getting pretty worried now!
many thanks

Agencies are scum m8, but can be a quick fix. They will have all their favorites as well, all the big firms now seem to use agencies, but if you dont know anyone, you aint getting on!
google is your friend. Make sure you have a nice CV, try and focus on contacting firms directly, it is just a matter a phone call at the right time. having said that I have been out for 2 weeks now, been contracting for 25 years, and have never known it like this before, normally a day or 2 at most!

thanks for the replys. really struggling to find anything. seem to be quite a few qualified jobs going but until i get my nvq cert(assessor has told me it can take C&G 3 months to issue not sure if true) can only go for improver or mate. was looking at getting a JIB card but not sure whether to wait until i can get electricians one?
cheers.
