Well it's that time of year again, latest assessment requires evidence of
a written health & safety policy statement ***!!! and undertakes risk
assessments ***!!!
As I work on my own, therefore employ less than 5 people, 1 is less than 5 ?
It is not a requirement of law that I have a written policy, so do I tell them this or do I find something on line and print it off ?
Help please I have only a couple of weeks till the big day.
They also require a record of all complaints received, that will be a blank
sheet of papaer then.
In anticipation of all assisstance and help... many thanks and a happy xmas
Pat

You can download a health & safety policy document from the NICEIC web site. Under the contractor tab at the top, then downloads then useful downloads. Print it of then sign it. There is also a complaints procedure and form you can download.

Hope this helps.

Yup, by law you only have to have one in place if your company has 5 or more employees, no idea why they ask this for sole traders, but at the end of the day it may save your ---!
