Asbestos meter boxes

Has anyone came across these before?

I will take a picture tomorrow. The door is grey with bits in resembling asbestos board. Another spark asked if it was asbestos.

Yes they I think are made from badly weathered glassfibre, I can see the confussion though.

If in doubt check it out though but I can't say I have ever seen an asbestos meter cab.

Fibre glass = Glass matting and Resin
GRP = Moulded plastic re-enforced with glass fibre.

Never seen an asbestos one, lots of old fiberglass ones that resemble asbestos though! look inside you'll see the fibers.

I knew some pedant would say that. Technically correct or not, GRP is also widely used to refer to glass/resin.
