Hi, wondering if anyone can give me someinformation, I have a telephone interview for british gas I just wondering ifanyone has done this and the kind of questions ask.

How good are you at sales, pressure selling and scary the bejeesus out of little old ladies with horror stories of the hazards of rewireable fuse boxes

oh and you know much about electrics too?

cheers for your help, have you done a telephone interview with them before because it says they could ask you 6 question for the 17th edition regs

I had one about 6 month ago and I'm on their talent pool awaiting a job opening. Basically its 5 questions. Fail the first and its goodbye.
Can't remember the exact questions but its all to do with Max ze values for different supply types. Min CSA for main earthing and that's I'll I can remember. Make sure you've got your regs book and gn3 to hand, they allow you to refer to it but they'll only give you 2-3mins per question to answer.
Good luck

Is it for a full time BG job or for the 24 hour call outs?

Regardless, make sure you are up on earthing arrangements, max Ze, max Zs for cables & MCB's/PFC, bonding, safe isolation and a whole lot of form filling.
