Hi all, long time no see!

So I have this question that I need to answer for an assignment but there is an issue. I have a copy of the BS7671 Wiring Regs Amendment 3 (which has amendment 1 & 2 removed from the introduction).

Question 1 asks : Which zone no longer applies to a shower room?
The issue is that I cannot find any amendment regarding shower rooms.

Question 2 asks : Which test was introduced into BS7671 17th edition?
Again, no information (most likely was included in am.1)

I dont want the answer (that would be cheating), but a push in the right direction would be great. I have a feeling that these questions are "old" and since I have the newest regs book they may be UN-answerable.

Many thanks,
Robin

bathrooms/shower rooms used to be divided into 3 zones under the 16th . the 17th did away with zone 3 and redefined zones1,and 2.

In the absence of a copy of the 16th, you could research summaries of the changes from the 16th to the 17th editions. The IET website would be a good place to start.

Arg! You gave away the answer!

Thanks for your help guys!

He's like a dog out of a trap that one. Sees the rabbit and off !

As for the test introduced, I had to look that one up just now. I was aware of the tests where parameters had changed but not a fully new one. turns out it wasn't a new test as such, just not written in the book before.
