Regarding a house re wire. Just checking, but does a cooker hood expelling outside cover the issue of having a fan in the kitchen. Assume it removes enough air.

I believe a cooker hood extract fan with 60 cubic metre per hour extract rate meets the intermittent extract requirements for a kitchen.
