Sorry for the dumbass question, customer wants single sockets changed to doubles. My understanding no certs needed.!? as you do, looked at cu old wylex board no RCD. Checked bonding, what bonding!
Tried to explain, no just want sockets changed m8.
Where do i stand if thats all i do?

i would say your on a sticky wicket is some one get a belt at a latter date as even 16th required rcd on skt that may be used out side
 
It's one of these jobs, if you wern't registered you would just do it, but being a reg spark makes you think. But work is work at the moment.
 
are they paying cash!!!!!!!!

no invoice, no paperwork, no come back.....
may lead to future work that does want invoicing for etc...

Going to find out tomorrow, would have to be cash no paper work that is for sure, going to suggest rcd sockets for the ones that could provide for outside,
and i will do the bonding.

also going to check with my governing body what they say
 
Nothing wrong with old Wylex boards and they were permitted under 16th. New for old seems OK.
I personally would not do the Job if the Earth bonding was not up to scratch.
I would also say this Job requires a minor works cert were you can make comments on installation RCD etc.
So unless he is happy to bring the Earth bonding up to current standards (and with no RCD that includes cross bonding as well) Don't touch it with a barge pole.
