hello,

I dont know which model Berlingo your after specifically but I have a new shape one from work with n/s sliding door. Had bout 5months and its racked up 12k miles and so far it's not let me down, event through all the terrible weather we had. Was not the best performer in the snow with regards to getting up even small banks but slow and steady eventually found grip.
I find the space in the back is adequate for what I do. I have the 3 seats up front and the far left drops flat to floor and allows 3mtr lengths which is handy. Although does get a bit cramped with 3 people in there (or cosy depending which way your feeling :) )
erm....storage up front is plentyful but I find limited for certain things eg over head storage doesnt seem to hold my folders very well. Cup holders in the door pockets are ridiculous they shouldnt have bothered with them!!! Glove box is that only, its literally a glove box and nothing else.
I find mpg is quite poor but then as it's not mine I do hammer it everywhere, legally of course
comfy enough to drive and is nippy enough but its not a rocket

dear me thats a long post  anyways hope it helps

(p.s I did tell my gaffer to buy a connect but too expensive apparently)

To be fair he did not say he had it from NEW for 2 years.

As you have found out, Transporters are damned good!
