Thanks for the helpful input everyone. No cores were sleeved and u had that as a C3. In two minds about the armour but C2 is the winner!
That sounds about right to me. to rectify it though you will have to link the armer at each socket if not already connected and connect one end (normaly at the db)to earth
 
What new colours I always use white as the cpc.

I see a darkness coming on, maybe trouble ahead. Are you deliberately being controversial or doe it come naturally? You know exactly what people are trying to discuss, why throw a wobbly in the mix?

I think he's doing it on purpose! Just look at some of his other contributions to threads!

3 core SWA with white - when was that?
 
Was only having a jest, my earlier post was serious. Sorry chaps.
White was a phase colour from many years ago I believe.
 
I don't go that far back but I seem to recall working on installations as a dogsbody in the early eighties and the existing 3 phases were red, white and blue with neutral being black?
