Dimmable Energy efficient lamps

A customer just phoned as he fitted some 9w low energy lamps, but when dimmed they flicker, he's asked me to pick some compatable lamps up for him when i next Order some materials.

Do the first few on this page work with a dimmer? Or can someone recommend me some that are dimmable?

Just put a load of so-called dimmable CFLs into a house only to find they dimmed about 20% max

Thanks for the links, problem Is that there on show so the spiral or stick type lamps are out the question!

have you tried the halogen candle lamps? not as green ( or yellow) as the cfls but dimmable, good light, look like proper lamps

Cheers for that, never come across those before! Not quite as energy efficient as the fluorescent types though but a good compromise!
