Looking for some technical advice Regarding having EDF coming to connect a new Meter for a (3yr) Temporary TT System supply.
The connection was refused at first and he left a sheet with 2 points.
1. "earth rod" - (this has been sorted now) I've installed an earth rod with clamp and 16mm earth to the MET block.
2. "RCD REQD (Circuits)"
Now regarding point 2 - The main CCU has all RCBO's. But the CCU is contained in a separate box 2M's away. Im wondering if he didnt bother to look in here, or if he is wanting a main RCD between the meter and the CCU?
I was wondering if someone can guide me into make the setup perfect so that there is no risk of the guy form EDF leaving again.
A little detail into the diagram to help you visualize:
From the head there are unconnected meter tails to a henley block, and from the henley block to a 100A fused main switch. then from there to a connection box where the Tails will connect to the SWA. And from that SWA it goes undeground 2 meters to a wylex CCU with RCBO protection.
Thanks in advance
Tom
