does the Part P come from the council? or the electrician should provide it. We have direct contact with the council so my advise was to forward the 2 page EICR to the council for final approval. If I need an EIC as well as an EICR then I will contact the electrician, or a Part P certificate too? if the electrician has to provide that?

thanks in advance.
The Building compliance certificate should come from the electricians scam provider .

Right .......... so 1 spark started the work, and another has taken over - is this correct?

For the benefit of the debate, the op has told me via a pm that a new spark came on board after they had been ripped off...

So just to add.

Not all building control offices accept an EICR in place of an EIC.

So OP check with building control or you may be faced with more costs

What's people's issues with their respective schemes ?
Please don't say money :D

They do nothing to sort out the cowboys ................... unless they use their logo's
They don't represent the views of the trade
They don't cooperate to sort out the DNO's

Need I go on?
