Electrician in the Armed Forces?

Has anyone on here left the Raf or Army as an electrician ?

If so with the experience and qualification that you gained whilst serving did you find it easy to get a job as an electrician in civvy street and what qualifications did you gain whilst serving?

I work for Jaguar Land Rover maintenance and they've taken on guys from all 3 branches of the armed forces over the last couple of years, the entry quals for "civvies" is quite high (time served apprenticeship etc.) so military quals are well regarded.
